Even though I’d always thought meditation was not for me - where would I find the time etc - I decided to give it a try and signed up for Stephen’s Meditation Level 1 course. I was pleasantly surprised how I took to it! Not difficult at all and the benefits so far outweigh the time. I now meditate each day and look forward to it! My energy level and sleeping have improved a lot and I’m sure there will be more benefits as I keep going. I was so happy with what I learned in the first level I decided to take the 2nd level. Stephen is a fantastic teacher, very professional in every way. I find the group setting enhances my meditation which is usually deeper - Any visual experiences are clearer and more detailed than when I meditate alone. The energy is uplifting. I now meditate daily with more tools to help me relax and I handle my life in a more relaxed and peaceful way.

Stephen taught me a lot about meditation, a subject I knew very little about before, in the two sessions I had. The skills I learnt are hopefully going to benefit me a lot in my life in general to make me less stressed. I think this is important so I can cope as well as possible with events and problems at school and home. I certainly felt a lot more relaxed after the sessions. The techniques he taught were simple yet effective.

I also feel that it was a very valuable experience and could be very useful to us. Although concentration skills among our group weren't great I still feel that I learnt the basics and that these could be very helpful in dealing with everyday life. 1st session - Although it was hard to concentrate at first, the candle gazing helped focus my attention and from then on I allowed myself to relax and try to forget my surroundings and other thoughts.

2nd session - I found the Aums very hard to concentrate on but the sound was very effective and I did feel a sense of peace. Although throughout a lot of the session I couldn't help but laugh. I think that had I been in different surroundings I would have found it easier. However, it was a very enjoyable evening.

I am writing to you today in the hopes of setting up a session with you for my Spiritual Astrology.

I ‘met’ you this Spring 2005 at the Spring Festival of Awareness in Naramata, BC. I attended your seminar on Life After Death. Unfortunately I was unable to stay for the entire time. Before I left the retreat I bought a copy of your book titled Nature’s Wisdom – Portals to Human Potential. I would like to thank you for the beautiful writings and illustrations in your book. Right from the introduction I felt a peaceful identification; your writing touched me at a soul level.

I have spent the past four years lovingly working along side nature as a professional gardener, connecting with nature and the wisdom that it has to offer. I was deeply moved to see mirrored in your writing the feelings of my heart.

I do not enter ‘blindly’ or ‘lightly’ into life, I need to understand on a mental level, which brings me to your seminar. I admit to being an open minded skeptic (does that make any sense?), in the brief hour that I listened to you speak, watching as you used illustrations to lecture on Life After Death I left the seminar feeling I need to hear more from you.
